The group travel app for travel advisors and tour operators

You've sold the trip and built the itinerary. en route puts it in every traveller's pocket for the trip itself: the schedule in local time, the key info, one place for messages, and an SOS that reaches you or your tour leader.

Free to build and try with up to 3 guests. One price per trip, no subscription.

Whether you're on the trip or sending it.

Escorting the group

You're the host. Send announcements and see who tapped "Got it". Answer private messages, and set quiet hours so they wait until morning. An SOS still reaches you, even at 2am.

Sending the group

Add the tour leader or local host as a co-host so they can run the trip on the ground. You choose who an SOS reaches, and in what order. You still see who's arriving when, and whose forms are missing.

How an advisor uses en route

  1. Before the trip

Bring in the itinerary you already have

Upload the PDF from your itinerary software, a Word or Excel file, a Google Doc or Sheet, or paste the text. Add the hotel address, Wi-Fi, house rules and your team: the tour leader, the guide, the driver.

  2. A few weeks out

    Invite the group

Each traveller gets a link and fills in a short form: dietary needs and allergies, an emergency contact, and flights there and home. You see one board of arrivals and departures, grouped by airport and time.

  3. On the trip

Run it, or hand it over

Announcements, messages, arrivals and SOS, from the trip app on your phone or your tour leader's. The schedule is already on every traveller's phone, and works with no signal.

Made for groups on the move.

Your brand, not ours

Your trip name, one of 17 colours or your own, a display font, your logo and a cover photo. Travellers see your trip from the first screen.

Trips that cross borders

Each day has its own country and time zone. Cruises get days at sea and an "all aboard" time on port days. The emergency number follows the trip.

Say it once

Send one announcement. Travellers tap "Got it", and you see who hasn't, by name.

Meet the team

Photos, titles and a line about each person, so travellers know who to ask before they've met anyone.

A link for family at home

Travellers can send a read-only schedule to family. It hides the address, rooms, Wi-Fi and other travellers' names.

One album

Everyone adds photos to one shared album, so the group goes home with the same pictures.

One price per trip. No subscription.

Setting up a trip is free. You pay once, when you turn it on for real travellers, and they never pay. At about $20 a guest or less, it's small enough to fold into the trip price.

$149

per trip, up to 8 guests

$249 for 9–15 guests, $449 for 16–30 and $749 for 31–75. Running several trips? Three trips of up to 30 guests each are $999.

Questions advisors ask

Do my travellers have to download an app?

The free en route app is on the App Store and Google Play. Anyone who can't install apps can use en route in a web browser instead; everything works there except phone notifications.

Can my tour leader or local host run the trip?

Yes. Add them as a co-host and they can run the trip with you. Add the rest of your team with photos and titles, and choose who an SOS reaches, and in what order.

I already build itineraries in other software. Do I start again?

No. Bring in the itinerary you already have from a PDF, Word, Excel, a Google Doc or Sheet, a web page or pasted text. Or start from our free itinerary template.

Is it right for a cruise group?

Yes. Each day can have its own country and time zone, including days at sea and an "all aboard" time on port days. Travellers see the emergency number for where they are that day.

How is this different from Travefy?

Travefy is software for running an advisory business: proposals, itineraries, a CRM and invoicing. en route is the app your group carries during the trip. See the full comparison.
