en route by hosted/trips ("en route") is run by SRALL, LLC, 10245 North Allwood Terrace, Citrus Springs, FL 34434, United States ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@getenroute.app. These terms cover the en route iPhone and Android apps, the web app at app.getenroute.app, share links and getenroute.app. SRALL, LLC's general terms for all its services are at srall.biz/terms; where they differ from this page, this page applies to en route.
1. What en route is
en route is a trip companion app. Hosts (retreat leaders and group-trip organizers) set up a trip and invite their guests, who use it for the schedule, trip information, announcements, messages, polls and photos. The host runs the trip, not us. We aren't a party to your booking with the host, we aren't a travel agent, and the host is responsible for the trip, its plans and what happens on it.
SOS is not an emergency service. en route's SOS button alerts the trip's hosts. It does not contact police, fire, ambulance or any other emergency service. In an emergency, call the local emergency number first.
2. Accounts and invite links
Hosts sign in with a hosted/trips account (accounts.hostedtrips.com) or with a one-time code we email; the hosted/trips terms also apply to that account. Guests open their trip with their own invite link or invite code. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, invite link and codes
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your en route account or your guest information at any time, as explained in our Privacy policy.
3. Community rules
en route lets hosts and guests share messages, announcements and photos within a private trip. You agree to these rules when you join a trip, sign in as a host, or create a trip. They apply to everything you post in en route, including group chat, private messages, announcements, polls, photos, profiles, trip details and team profiles.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You must not post or send:
- Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation of anyone
- Hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age
- Sexually explicit content or nudity
- Any content that sexually exploits or endangers children. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the authorities as the law requires
- Violent or graphic content, or content that encourages self-harm or violence
- Illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity
- Spam, scams, or misleading content
- Other people's private information, or photos of people who have asked not to be shared, without their permission
- Content that impersonates another person
Reporting. Use the Report option in the ⋯ menu on any message or photo (or press and hold it). Reports go to the trip's hosts and to the en route team. You can also email hello@getenroute.app. The person you report is not told who reported them.
We review every report within 24 hours.
What hosts can do. Hosts and co-hosts can delete any message or photo on their trip and remove any guest from the trip. Guests can delete their own messages and photos, and can hide another guest's messages and photos.
What we can do. We may remove any content that breaks these rules, and suspend or delete the account or trip access of anyone who posts it, with or without notice. Removed content is deleted for everyone.
4. Your content
When you post messages, photos, profiles, trip details or other content in en route, you:
- Retain ownership of your content
- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display and send your content in connection with operating en route (for example, showing your photo to the other people on your trip)
- Represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws
5. If you're a host
- Invite only people who are on your trip, and don't send invites to children under 13. A parent or guardian uses the app for a child.
- List team members, and add their photos and email addresses, only with their permission.
- You are responsible for how you use guest information outside en route, for example a downloaded waitlist.
- If you pay for a trip, you pay on the web, at the price shown before you pay. See pricing. The iPhone and Android apps don't take payments.
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use en route to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information from our services without authorization
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Send unsolicited communications (spam) through our services
- Use our services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
You also may not modify, copy, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the en route software, or remove any copyright or proprietary notices from it.
7. Text Messages (SMS) — en route by hosted/trips
Program. en route by hosted/trips ("en route") is a trip companion app that group-trip hosts give to their guests. en route sends text messages about a trip you are on: schedule changes, meeting points, reminders from your host, and SOS alerts to the trip's hosts when a guest uses the SOS button. We do not send marketing texts.
How you opt in. Guests opt in by ticking "Yes, text me urgent trip updates from my host" on their pre-trip form in the app. The box is never pre-ticked, and texting is not required to use the app. Hosts opt in to SOS text alerts by ticking an unticked box for their own phone number while signed in; nobody can sign up someone else's number for texts. Screenshots of both are on our text messages page.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies by trip. Usually a few texts per trip, and only while the trip is on.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. en route does not charge for texts.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. You will get one message confirming you have opted out, and no further texts. Reply START to opt back in.
Help. Reply HELP to any text, or email hello@getenroute.app.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. See our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of en route — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design — are owned by SRALL, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Content that hosts and guests post belongs to them, as described in section 4.
9. Third-party links, services and app stores
en route may contain links to third-party websites (for example, links a host adds) or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
If you download or use the en route apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you also agree to comply with the applicable app store's terms of service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and app store terms, the more restrictive terms apply.
10. Disclaimers
en route is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- en route will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The information provided through en route is accurate, complete, or current
- Any defects will be corrected
Trip details, schedules, times, places and other trip information are written by hosts. Notifications, messages and SOS alerts can be delayed or fail to arrive, for example when a phone has no signal. Always check important details directly with your host.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SRALL, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or inability to use en route
- Any content or conduct of any third party on en route, including hosts and other guests

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SRALL, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of en route, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
14. Changes, severability and entire agreement
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of en route after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SRALL, LLC regarding your use of en route.
